I was really excited to write this one, as it finds me doing the things I love most in writing — exploring relationships and the strange ways our heart tends to lead us.
My target for Poles Reversed stories is 16-18,000 words, to keep them light and accessible (and easy to write) but like the previous entry (How I Became a Pop Princess) I found the story blossoming as I explored the characters and their lives. At 30,000 words, this is not only longer than any other entry in the series, it’s longer than some of my other novellas too.
I have a lot more up my sleeve as far as this series, and other potential projects I want to start/get back to. I’m not in a rush to do it — hopefully I can sit back and enjoy whatever success this book finds, but you also can’t seem to stop me from writing, especially now that I have some good momentum.
There will be one more somewhat big thing from me before the end of the year — within the next week or so.
